Sun-grown “Original Glue” at our farm in Western Maine

How we grow-

Our MOFGA certified clean cannabis “soil to oil” farm specializes in sustainably cultivated organic flowers and oils. We plant directly in the ground in amended rows of soil; this dramatically reduces our water usage and allows natural cover crops to proliferate. For pest control we rely on beneficial organisms and promote the natural ecology of our area to encourage this symbiosis. During the last 3-4 weeks of the flowering season we put clear plastic "roofs" over our plants to prevent rain from hitting the buds. This technique allows our flowers to ripen longer, amplifying the cannabinoid and terpene content while reducing the presence of nefarious microorganisms.

Harvest and cure-

When harvesting for “cured” extracts we hang dry our plants and let the flowers “cold cure” on the stem until they are the optimal ripeness for extraction. When harvesting for “live” extracts we buck the flowers fresh off of the stem and freeze the buds immediately in the field (aka “fresh frozen”) then truck our freezers straight to the lab for further processing.
